A flawed commercial model is the main issue that higher education is currently confronting. It is impossible to repair a damaged system by subsidizing access to it. The issue of who should pay for education is a crucial one for policy, but it cannot be exploited as a fig leaf or as an excuse to avoid addressing the root causes of college costs.

Dr. Jade Malay a successful entrepreneur and medical expert from Texas, created the Dr. Jade Malay High Achiever Award. This award aims to recognize, honor, and inspire outstanding students who are also great leaders. The Dr. Jade Malay High Achiever Award honors two exceptional college-bound Malay students annually. The scholarship is worth $1,000 to each recipient and will help him or her with his or her education.

Dr. Malay’s goal is to give his patients the tools they need to take charge of their health and lives.
